I’ve got a DVD of The Abyss on order, because that is apparently the only way to watch this movie these days. The DVD quality is also apparently horrible, but what can you do. I haven’t seen this movie in ages and thought I should, considering I’m currently writing a novel set under water.
Can’t wait to see what James Cameron does this time!
I remember The Abyss with fondness. A great movie that maybe didn’t get the credit it deserved at the time / has been forgotten a bit? Enjoy the DVD!
I think it’s still remembered by a lot of enthusiasts. DVD just arrived, so I’ll be watching it soon and let you know how it holds up. I wonder if I can get the wife to watch the extra long version with me…
